Hard Knock Life is the ninth episode of the fourth season of the police procedural series NCIS: New Orleans which was aired on November 21, 2017.
Summary[]
Pride second-guesses evidence suggesting homeless kids are the suspects in the murder of a petty officer.
Trivia[]
- Despite being credited, Daryl "Chill" Mitchell but do not appeared in this episode.
- M.E. Loretta says the victim was shot execution style twice in the back of the head. The wounds shown on the body show the wounds were from the front of the head, not the rear. Had they been from the rear, the exit wounds on the front would have been much larger.
- In the verbal argument with the DCFS worker, Pride says the kids are treated like criminals. In fact, the kids had committed numerous criminal acts. His malfeasance in following the law would result in punitive action against him by NCIS and also expose him to severe civil liability.
- A tracker that emits a radio signal could be tracked by anyone with a receiver. It would be impossible to know how many people are tracking it, just as it would be impossible to tell how many people are listening to a radio station on their car radios.
